The Mobilier national preserves from him a large shepherdess, from the time of Louis XVI, offering scrolled armrest consoles, of an unusual model. Other specimens of his work were part of the collection of the Vicomte de Froissard-Brossia dispersed in 1919, and of the former furnishings of Madame la Duchesse d’Avaray at the Château de Mareil-le-Guyon. One of his most admirable creations is an alcove sofa, richly carved and gilded, which obtained a bid of 56,500 francs at the Jacques Doucet sale in May 1912, and which has since appeared in the A. Sussmann collection.

For any information contact department of purchase[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”573″][vc_column_text]RARE AND PRECIOUS CASKET

Flemisch, Bruxelles,Circa 1700.

Estimation : 2 000€ / 2 500€[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_custom_heading text=”RARE AND PRECIOUS FLEMISCH CASET” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:center|color:%23dda918″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]RARE AND PRECIOUS CASKET of rectangular shape built wooden of oak, veneer of ebony, red coloured scale, ivory, mother-of-pearl and vegetable lacquer colored with fragments mineral representing foliages, decorated with flowers and decorated with pods.
